How it works

Four steps. No agent involved.

Everything happens on-screen at the machine, using your own phone to confirm the transaction — just like withdrawing at your own bank.

01 — Arrive

Find a kiosk

Walk up to any Moltel location — most are sited right next to a bank branch.

02 — Authenticate

Confirm on your phone

Enter your number and PIN on your own device, right at the machine.

03 — Transact

Cash-in or cash-out

Choose your amount. The machine dispenses or accepts cash in seconds.

04 — Done

Get your receipt

An SMS confirmation lands immediately — same as any mobile money transaction.

Where to find one

Sited where people already are.

Bank-adjacent locations for easy top-ups, plus high-traffic markets and campuses with proven demand.

Built for trust

Not a workaround. The most compliant channel around.

Moltel requires you to be physically present with your own device for every cash-out — the exact standard mobile money regulators now require.

Presence & PIN, every time

No remote or absentee cash-outs. You authenticate on your own device, standing at the machine.

One flat fee

1% of the transaction value, always. No hidden tiers, no surprise charges at the screen.

Never closed

No opening hours, no lunch breaks, no "back in 10 minutes" signs — the machine is always on.

For banks & site owners

Host a Moltel on your property.

We handle the machine, the cash logistics, and the maintenance. You get foot traffic and a share of the commission.

  • Zero staffing burden — the kiosk runs itself
  • Sited on your forecourt, lobby, or frontage
  • Cash top-ups walked over from your own branch — no armored courier needed
  • Full CCTV and insured, monitored operation

Good to know

Cash-in and cash-out on standard mobile money rails, from GHS 350 up to GHS 20,000 per transaction. Moltel doesn't do bill pay, transfers, or airtime — just cash.

A flat 1% of your transaction value, the same rate charged by mobile money agents — no separate machine-usage fee.

Every transaction requires your own phone and PIN, on-site — the same physical-presence standard mobile money regulators require of agents. There's no one to socially engineer, and every kiosk is monitored and insured.

Because every Moltel is sited next to a bank branch, top-ups are quick and frequent. If a machine is temporarily out of service, the app (coming soon) will show the nearest alternative.
